gRINDING
CNC GRINDING MACHINE
Unimak's CNC Grinding Machine (UNIGRIND 800) is a full-automatic sanitary ware grinding machine controlled in 3 axes by a Siemens CNC unit. The operator fixes the product to a horizontal or vertical table, writes a program using G-codes, and saves it for reuse on future batches of the same product. The grinding head, mounted on the X-Y-Z axis, follows the saved path automatically and returns to its waiting position once finished, giving a smooth, consistent finish without manual guidance. A double-station layout with a safety door lets the machine grind one product while the operator loads or unloads the second station, so neither the machine nor the operator has to wait.

Siemens Sinumeric CNC Controller
The Siemens CNC unit makes programming straightforward for any product — the operator enters G-codes and creates and stores different programs.
Steel Body & Beam Construction
Revolution adjustments can be made from the program or manually on the control panel without stopping the grinding shaft, and the spindle head retracts on all three axes for easy product fixing and control.
Adjustable Spindle Without Stopping
Revolution adjustments can be made from the program or manually on the control panel without stopping the grinding shaft, and the spindle head retracts on all three axes for easy product fixing and control.
Global Brand Components
Linear guides (THK), CNC unit and electrical equipment (Siemens, Telemecanique) and axis gearboxes (Dynabox) are all sourced from established global brands.
Compact Footprint
The complete machine occupies roughly 4 x 5 metres of floor space, keeping the automated cell compact for the shop floor.
Multi-Point Water Cooling
A multi-point watery cooling system directs water to the cutting stone during grinding, controlling temperature and extending stone life.
