CAROUSEL GLAZING MACHINE
Unimak's Carousel Glazing Plant is a manual glazing line built around a 32-turner rotating carousel. Each piece is mounted on an individually rotating turner and carried by chain conveyor through a stainless steel (AISI 304) glazing cabin with water-curtain over-glaze recovery, followed by an inspection cabin and an automatic turner washing tunnel. With a 960 kg total load capacity across 32 turners and conveyor speed adjustable from 2–7 m/minute, the line can output well over 2,000 pieces per shift depending on product mix and spraying time.

Stainless Steel Glazing Cabin
AISI 304 cabin (5.900 x 3.350 x 2.320 mm) with 8 chimney fans and a water curtain that captures overspray and feeds it to the glaze collection store.
New Turner Construction
50 turners (Ø560 mm, 1.000 mm height) on one-point bearings rotate 360° individually and run on lubrication-free trolleys, capable of glazing large pieces like fire clay and shower trays.
Glaze Recovery Tanks
Two 1.5 m³ stainless steel tanks with mixers homogenize recovered glaze until it reaches 1.73–1.78 g/cm³ density, ready for reuse.
Inspection Cabin
A matching AISI 304 inspection cabin with 8 fans and water curtain lets operators check every piece before it moves on.
Automatic Washing Tunnel
Turners are pressure-washed and dried automatically after glazing, protecting bearings and the main chain from glaze build-up.
PLC Electrical Control Board
A password-protected PLC panel (380V/50Hz) controls fans, turner drive and speed, glaze recovery tanks, pumps and the washing cabin from one place.
