FFC WB CASTING MACHINE

The FFC WB Casting Machine is Unimak's battery-type fine fire clay casting plant for big wash basins, console basins, shower trays and kitchen sinks. Two symmetrical casting benches carry 50 moulds each (100 moulds total, each with individual casting control), casting models up to 120 cm and 2-cavity moulds up to 60 cm on the same bench. The bench tilts up to 8° for effective slip feeding and draining, then returns to horizontal for fully automatic vertical casting and horizontal demoulding via a hydraulic demoulding manipulator — saving floor space and giving high total yield.

Vertical Casting – Horizontal Demoulding

Hydraulic Tilting System

Heavy, large fire clay moulds are handled automatically by a demoulding manipulator: casting is vertical to save floor space, then the bench returns to horizontal for automatic demoulding.

The casting bench tilts 0-8° with hydraulic cylinders for effective slip feeding and draining, avoiding the slip-meeting-point problem seen on fixed benches.

Cast pieces are transferred automatically from the casting bench directly onto greenware trolleys — the operator only places empty setters and finishes green pieces, with no time lost to demoulding.

A thermoblock unit with burner pumps hot air through air channels, with 70 mm distance between moulds for effective, even drying.

Stable casting pressure is maintained through continuous line-pressure checking and modulation-type valve control.
